Rice FOR

You can’t have rice for breakfast!

Rice for Breakfast travel food blog

The result of a flippant comment by my dear mother, Rice for Breakfast is a journey through one of travel’s most important and enjoyable aspects: Food & Drink.

I’ve wanted to be a food writer for a very long time; nothing to do with exercising creative writing muscles, but purely to be paid to eat and drink. Having worked in the wine industry for a decade, involving spells in both rustic and pretentious eateries, I have some knowledge to build on and now can’t wait to learn more. Apparently, all it takes to become a food critic is an iPhone. I’ve got an iPhone and I’m greedy…

You’ll see what Alun & I eat around the world, including honest food reviews, articles on local food & drink culture, and the best street food locations, all of which should keep you hungry!

I believe exploring local cuisines is imperative to understanding a people and its culture; unless you’re in the UK, in which case I might advise literally anything else.

I hope you enjoy reading Rice for Breakfast as much as I enjoy writing it, and please reach out with any questions or recommendations using our snazzy contact form.

Bon app! - Adam
